Based on the distribution method, Z/X cards can be roughly split into 6 categories, which can be distinguished by the initials on the collector number in the lower right corner of the card.
Free Card

Recognized by the [ F ] initial, free cards are cards that was distributed for free in Z/X recognized stores or official tournament venues. It may also be distributed as PDF data, magazine's pages, and so on in a non-card form or as a data. Their rarity are fixed as Free (F). You may copy and print them for use.
You may use and mix the free cards with cards from other categories. When you do so, it is advised to put the cards together using card sleeves with opaque backing.
Booster Card
Recognized by the [ B ] initial, they are cards that was distributed in general Booster Packs. They cannot be copied or printed for use.
Extra Card
Recognized by the [ E ] initial, they are cards that was distributed in the Extra Packs. They cannot be copied or printed for use.
Construction Card
Recognized by the [ C ] initial, they are cards that was distributed in the Starter Decks. They cannot be copied or printed for use.
Quick Start Card
Recognized by the [ Q ] initial, they are cards that was included in the Quick Start Deck.
Since their design followed the free cards, you may copy and print them for use.
Metal Card
Recognized by the [ M ] initial, used on Metal cards. They cannot be copied or printed for use.
Promotional Card

Recognized by the [ P ] initial, promotional cards are cards that were distributed as tournament's gift, given away when purchasing other products, or distributed in various means as special privileges. Their rarity are fixed as Promotional (P). They cannot be copied or printed for use.
