Code:Eldersign - Evolve "Alter Break" (極点超越編(コード：エルダーサイン) 進化＜アルターブレイク＞ Kōdo Erudāsain Shinka Arutā Bureiku), or Alter Break for short, is the thirty-sixth Z/X -Zillions of enemy X- TCG set and the first set in the Code:Eldersign storyline.

Information

• Starting from this set, a new card frame design is introduced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Z/X.
• Includes the new "Alter Break" system that consisted of 3 components: "Alter", "Break Event", and "Alter Break".
  • This system allow the player to use an Event Extra ("Break Event") to turn a specific Z/X ("Alter") into another specific Z/X ("Alter Break") from hand. The "Alter" Z/X will become a face-down Force under the "Alter Break" Z/X to denote its status as "Alter Break".
  • All "Break Event" and "Alter Break" cards are printed in the new Break Rare rarity or higher.
• Introduces new player character, Yith. Her deck will be focused on the new "Alter Break" system.
• Introduces more category groups for Z/X that consisted of two Tribes.
  • "Fam." (ファム Famu) is comprised of Killer Machine and Metal Fortress.
  • "Elements" (エレメンツ Erementsu) is comprised of Hourai and Lycanthrope.
• Includes another collaboration cards with "E☆2" magazine with Wakame Konbu as the featured illustrator.
